Watch Boards Of Canada's New Video 'Reach For The Dead'

It has been a surprising year of long-awaited returns, daft and otherwise, and Boards of Canada will release its first album in eight years, called Tomorrow's Harvest, on June 11 (June 10 in the UK) on Warp Records. Watch the Scottish duo's first video and single from that record, the sun-bleached, fantastically eerie "Reach for the Dead."

First Listen: She & Him, 'Volume 3'

Playful, soft, sunnily melancholy and springlike, Zooey Deschanel's songs with M. Ward once again subsist on the strength of their own agreeability. Timelessness has long been key to the duo's charm, and indeed, Volume 3 seems to be floating through AM speakers at all times. Listen to She & Him's Volume 3 now, streaming courtesy of WFUV and NPR Music prior to its release on May 7 in the States and May 13 in the UK and Europe.

Boards Of Canada Teases, Returns With 'Tomorrow's Harvest'

Well, 2013 might be known for the year of cleverly orchestrated returns: My Bloody Valentine, David Bowie, Daft Punk, the Postal Service, Neutral Milk Hotel, Lauryn Hill and Nine Inch Nails are all making surprising returns. Now, Boards of Canada joins the list; the Glasgow electronic duo will release their first album in eight years this June after sending fans on a cryptic, code-cracking goose chase over the last couple of weeks. The clues have led to the announcement of Tomorrow's Harvest on Monday, due out June 11 on Warp Records.

The Black Angels: TAS In Session

Indebted to the Velvet Underground, Austin's The Black Angels have shaped their own style of darkly evocative psychedelic rock. On the band's fourth album, Indigo Meadow, politics also step to the lyrical forefront. The Black Angels are on a lengthy North American tour this spring and have also lined up the Glastonbury Festival this June. Not long ago the band did an acoustic set for The Alternate Side. Watch the videos now and listen to The Black Angels session this Friday, May 3, on TAS on 91.5 WNYE at 11 a.m., also streaming online.
