Electric Tickle Machine
Bio
New York City's Electric Tickle Machine employ a whirlwind of telecasters, synths and percussion to introduce their own brand of American swagger. In their short time together, they've built a following throughout NYC on the merit of their explosive live shows (known to feature nudity, confetti, and a sweaty mass of bouncing, singalong kids).
With their first show filmed and championed by famed Warholian photographer, Nat Finklestein, a performance on BBC TV Wales, a KEXP in-studio performance earning them comparisons to The Velvet Underground, and Brian Jonestown Massacre and their set at the inaugural Northside Festival being called the "nicest surprise of Northside" and described as "akin to MGMT...even crazier" (QRO Magazine), all before their one-year anniversary.
Guided by the ghosts of their city, and oozing sincerity and surrender, ETM make music for the kids and the young at heart. Their debut album "Blew It Again" is set for release in the fall.
